Please join us for a blow-out show featuring amazing musical variety in Americana Music Academy’s 2010 Grand Feature event in Liberty Hall! Featuring a Silent Auction with services and goods donated from vibrant downtown businesses, Americana members, local artists and performers. Performers from across the musical spectrum present a lively, one-of-a-kind celebration featuring classy clarinets, sexy saxophones and the sonic sensation known as Soundpainting. Lawrence’s matchless good-time band, Big Stack Daddy, rounds the evening out with music sure to send you home smiling.

Performing artist Dennis Shafer comes from Boston with the Chagall Performance Art Collaborative to show you the sonic sensation of Soundpainting! ChagallPAC artists David Krebs (composer, Lawrence) and Diana Norma (poet, Boston) share performance art for your reflection while Big Stack Daddy will have you tearing up the dance floor. The KU Clarinet Ensemble plays New York Counterpoint, and KU Helianthus Ensemble Soundpaints the picture for you.
